HOW DO I STAY FIT?

Foods with lots of fiber help fill you up, so you can eat a lot of food, but consume fewer calories. These include fresh vegetables and fruits. Whole grain foods are also recommended. Eat the right number of servings of each of these and you will eat a healthy diet. However, avoid concentrating on only eating high fiber, for your food will be too bland and you simply cannot stick with this type of diet. Eating should be fun and enjoyable. Eating cardboard tasting foods is not.

Eat in moderation foods with high carbohydrate content. However, everyone needs a certain number of carbohydrates every day to function normally. The best foods are those with high fiber content combined with the carbohydrates, such as some fruits and whole grain foods. Most low carbohydrate diets tend to reduce the carbs, but they add on the fats, so the resultant number of calories is around the same. We recommend you eat good foods with both lower fat and lower carbohydrates.

You should ignore any and all sales hypes about so called "miracle" diets, quick weight-loss diet pills, or any other fast weight-loss plans. Generally, with these, you might see a small reduction in weight initially, but people generally gain all the weight back again. These do not encourage long term lifestyle changing goals; new habits that are absolutely necessary for long term healthy and successful weight-loss. Only these lifestyle changes will result in your goals of better health and fitness.
